Statement of Faith

Our faith is rooted in the historic confession that Jesus Christ is Lord, the Word made flesh, through whom all things were created and in whom all things are being reconciled.

We stand within the broad stream of the historic, global Church, affirming the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds as faithful witnesses to the mystery of the Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who is love, and we believe:

God the Father is the Creator and sustainer of all life. He is holy, good, and infinitely loving. His creation is not disposable but destined for renewal.

Genesis 1–2; Psalm 104; Revelation 21:5

Jesus Christ, fully God and fully human, lived among us, revealing the heart of God through His words, compassion, death, and resurrection. In His life we see what humanity was meant to be, in His cross we see love poured out, and in His resurrection we see the dawn of new creation.

John 14:9; Romans 5:6–11; 1 Corinthians 15:20–28

The Holy Spirit is the living presence of God among us, empowering the Church, renewing creation, and transforming lives through grace.

John 14:16–17; Acts 1:8, 2:1–4; 2 Corinthians 3:17–18

The Scriptures bear witness to God’s redemptive story, from creation to new creation, and guide us into faith, hope, and love. We read them as a historical testimony of what God has done, a living testimony of what God is doing, and promised testimony of what God will do.

2 Timothy 3:14–17; Luke 24:27, 44–45; Revelation 21:1–5

The Church is the body of Christ, called to live as a sign and foretaste of God’s kingdom, a community of reconciliation, justice, worship, and love.

1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Acts 2:42–47; Matthew 5:13–16

Salvation is the gift of God’s grace, made possible through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. It is not only the forgiveness of sin but the restoration of all relationships, between God, humanity, and creation.

Ephesians 2:8–10; Colossians 1:19–22; Romans 8:1–4

The Kingdom of God is both present and coming. This Kingdom is wherever mercy triumphs over judgment, love overcomes fear, and hope breaks into despair.

Mark 1:15; Matthew 25:31–46; Revelation 11:15

Humanity is made in God’s image. Each person bears intrinsic worth and dignity. We affirm that God’s invitation extends to all people, without exception, and that grace extends beyond understanding and is never withheld from those who seek it.

Genesis 1:26–27; Psalm 139:13–16; 1 Timothy 2:3–6, Matthew 7:7-11

Creation itself participates in God’s redemption and our care for the earth and one another is an act of worship and obedience.

Romans 8:19–23; Genesis 2:15; Revelation 21–22

Our Hope is in the renewal of all things. Heaven and earth will be made one, and love will finally be all in all.

Revelation 21:1–5; Acts 3:21; 1 Corinthians 15:24–28

We hold these convictions as a story to embody; a story of belonging, restoration, and love that makes room for honest questions, cultural difference, and continuing revelation through the Spirit.

Faith for us is a kind of trust and a willingness to live toward the reconciliation God has promised, believing that grace is wider and mercy deeper than we yet understand.
