Beginning Again

I’m back in Japan! These past couple of weeks have been full of getting settled, navigating systems, paperwork, and the rhythms of daily life here.

Right now, I’m in the process of looking for an apartment. I’m currently staying at the church, which has been such a gift and provision in this transition season.

I’ve also been trying to be intentional with these early weeks, plugging into the life of the church, serving where I can, and reconnecting with friends I met during my time here last August.

It’s been really encouraging to step back into community, even as I’m still finding my footing again in language and culture.
